All weapons and armor in Lineage II adena have a grade associate with them, randing from the very lowest No-Grade up to the highest S80-Grade. You must be within (lineage2 adena )a certain level range and have the appropriate armor grade Expertise passive skill to wear specific weapon and armor grades and gain their full benefits. You can equip weapons and armor that are higher than your level range allows, but there is a penalty associated with doing so. Below is a list of the weapon and armor grades, and the level ranges associated with them.

No-Grade: Levels 1-19
D-Grade: Levels 20-39
C-Grade: Levels 40-51
B-Grade: Levels 52-60
A-Grade: Levels 61-75
S-Grade: Levels 76-79
S80-Grade: Levels 80-85
